Our Mission

Our mission is to create spaces where children can develop emotional resilience & strong academics.

We aim to support communities by creating environments that support the needs of the whole child.

We believe both of these objectives are most directly met through Authentic Montessori practice.

We educate communities on what quality Montessori education looks like, and to do what we can to make it accessible for all families.

We strive to honor the whole child, protect focus, and share a love for life through the Montessori approach. We are dedicated to empowering young learners, preparing them for a future full of exploration and growth.

"Casa dei Bambini" was the first school Dr. Montessori opened in Rome, Italy, and still stands today. The English translation means "The Children's House".

Welcome to our Casa!

My Montessori Journey

a message from the founder

I discovered Montessori as a young mom. I desperately wanted to know how to strike the balance between structure, and giving my children the freedom to grow and discover themselves.

My Montessori journey has forever changed the way I interact with young children.  I could not have imagined there would be so much calm, joy, order, and success. My training and experience turned something that felt very difficult & confusing (teaching young children) into something I understand and thoroughly enjoy.

I am committed to Montessori's method because I know it works! I have seen young children do amazing things, and grow their confidence daily. All they needed were adults who understood how to not get in the way, and to give them the support they truly needed.

Here at Casa, we strive to live what Dr. Montessori taught, and provide "the best for the littlest".

Whatever path you take, our deepest wish is that you will find the community, support and peace that your family is seeking!

Children need good fuel to learn and grow

Casa provides healthy lunch and snacks, prepared in house. Lunch is served family style and is part of teaching grace & courtesy. Children can choose to eat their snack any time they like during their work cycle.

We take care to serve food out of dishes that are free from lead and plastics.

At Casa, we offer words of thanks over our lunch together before eating. We do not require children to participate in these activities, but children are allowed to do so if they wish.
